Ready-Mix Outside Sales Representative

MIAMI AREA

Adonel Concrete is a Leading Independent Concrete & Block Manufacturing Company located in South Florida who is looking to add motivated sales individuals to join their team in Monroe, Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, and Indian River Counties. These individuals need to be well respected in the construction industry with a desire to work hard and be successful.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling concrete and block and must possess strong negotiation skills and provide outstanding customer service.

Qualifications
•High School Diploma, Bachelor’s degree preferred
•10 years of Outside Sales Experience in the construction industry, concrete industry preferred
•Excellent Customer Service skills
•Ability to efficiently manage time and work independently and with a team
•Ability to build relationships and relate to others
•Valid Driver’s License with a driving record that meets company safety standards

Responsibilities
•Sell Ready-Mix Concrete and Concrete Block to customers
•Efficiently identify prospective customers and projects
•Establish new customer accounts and projects in a timely manner
•Develop and maintain business relationships with customers, vendors, and the community
•Meet or exceed sales metrics and forecasted budget
•Address and resolve customer inquiries, requests, and complaints
•Effectively communicate between departments, including customer service, accounting, and operations
•Assist in the collection of revenue, when necessary

Adonel Concrete is a Leading Independent Concrete & Block Manufacturing Company located in South Florida who is looking for a Dispatcher for its Miami location.
The Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating activities of employees engaged in delivering concrete/cement products. Pay is $24-$25.

Duties and responsibilities:
• Consult with plant production and yard personnel to establish delivery schedules according to factors such as truck capacities, distances to delivery site, and unloading times
• Consult with customer service representatives regarding scheduled times for customer deliveries
• Assign drivers for scheduled deliveries of concrete products
• Strive to meet customer expectations without exception and achieve highly positive customer satisfaction survey results consistent with strategic objectives
• Jointly coordinates with operations and sales to resolve problems and improve quality of service
• Maintain radio contact with drivers to expedite deliveries
• Perform other job responsibilities as assigned by management

Job Requirements:
• 1 year of dispatching experience preferred
• Ready Mix experience highly desirable and preferred
• Experience using Command software, preferred
• Must be able to work well under pressure
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Availability to work on Saturdays
• Must be Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal and motivational skills
• Demonstrated ability to train, motivate and lead employees.
• Ability to present facts and recommendations effectively in oral and written form.

Physical requirements:
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear in order to communicate to employees
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

SWEETWATER, FL AREA

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform all needed inspections and repairs on Ready Mix trucks
  • Heavy duty diesel engine trouble shooting and repair
  • General electrical system trouble shooting and repair
  • Hydraulic systems trouble shooting and repair
  • Manual and automatic transmission trouble shooting and repair
  • Perform other related duties as required

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Experience with ready mix trucks, front end loaders and other equipment a plus
  • General welding skills required
  • Experience with diesel engines and hydraulic systems
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work under pressure
  • Minimum of one year directly related experience required
  • Pay: $25-30 per hour.

Primary functions are to safely load plant with specified material, maintain stockpile areas and to maintain the cleanliness and efficiency of the plant. The Loader Operator is responsible for daily inspections of the loader and is expected to work with outside equipment service suppliers to keep the equipment in good working order.

• Load the bins at the plant with the corresponding aggregates (sand, stone 57, pearock and any other required in production)
• Load the dump trucks with mud (wash out).
• Remove the mud continuously during the day (start and end of daily operations)
• Receive and stack aggregates in designated bins
• Handle aggregates properly to prevent contamination in the yard and ensure quality conditions (keep them well separated, report, in a timely manner, if any contaminated dump truck arrives and any other situation that may alter the quality of the aggregates, maintain area clean)
• Support the yardman with the cleaning activities in the yard
• Perform the cleaning of the pools of the yard and maintain the appropriate level according to company procedure
• Conduct daily inspection of the good condition and proper functioning of the front loader, and complete appropriate report sheet
• Report any malfunction or defective equipment by using the daily control form
• Provide maintenance to the front loader according to company procedure thus ensuring that it is in good working and cleaning conditions (lubricated) by completing the appropriate format
• Follow safety policies and procedures and wear required PPE

HOMESTEAD & FORT LAUDERDALE AREA

Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance of our heavy equipment including a fleet of concrete mixer trucks, flatbed trucks, forklifts, and other light vehicles. Pay is $24-$35.

• Performs other related duties as required

Job Requirements and Qualifications:
• Experience with ready mix trucks, front end loaders and other equipment a plus.
• General welding skills preferred.
• Experience with diesel engines and hydraulic systems
• Willingness to work overtime hours.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work under pressure.
• Related experience required.
• Valid CDL license Class B preferred.
• ASE Certification is preferred
