ADONEL CONCRETE HONORED BY LATIN BUILDERS

Adonel Concrete was named “Member of the Year” by the Latin Builders Association (LBA) during the organization’s annual Awards Luncheon held at the Hilton Miami Downtown on Friday, September 26.

“Adonel Concrete has been a major supporter of the LBA and its many events during the year including the annual golf tournament and installation gala,” said Guillermo Fernandez, president.  “The company’s support is significant as we promote giving back to our community through the LBA Construction and Business Management Academy Charter High School.”

Founded in 1984 by Luis Garcia, Adonel Concrete maintains 10 plants in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach and Fort Pierce. In 2010, Adonel expanded its operations to Haiti to help rebuild damaged areas. The company now operates three plants in Haiti and is supplying concrete for a number of projects in Port-au-Prince. Adonel has more than 210 employees and a fleet of 150 trucks.

The LBA is a non-profit organization that serves as a networking forum and training platform associated with the business of construction in South Florida.  Its mission is to promote and serve the development and construction industry, creating business opportunities for its members. Awards are given out every year to recognize exceptional leaders in a number of associated industries.
