The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling concrete and block and must possess strong negotiation skills and provide outstanding customer service.
Qualifications
•High School Diploma, Bachelor’s degree preferred

Responsibilities
•Sell Ready-Mix Concrete and Concrete Block to customers
•Efficiently identify prospective customers and projects

Job Summary:
The Safety Manager will be responsible for the ongoing development, implementation, and maintenance of the Safety, Health and Environmental Programs. The candidate will be a self-starting leader who can work in team and enjoys the challenges of daily involvement with a Ready Mix & Block Operation and Maintenance team.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure that federal, state, and local laws, regulations, rules, and codes are observed and adhere to
- Develop and enforce healthy and safety plans and protocols according to legal guidelines
- Prepare safety manuals, procedures, and guidelines
- Manage OSHA recordkeeping and reporting requirements
- Conduct and coordinate on-site inspections to audit physical conditions and safe work practices and identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices in the workplace
- Provide advice and counseling for all compliance regulations
- Conduct training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention including new hire safety orientations
- Provide employees with personal protective equipment
- Develop controls for identified hazards and coordinate the implementation of controls from result of hazard analysis
- Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of the hazard control system, policies, and procedures and recommend changes that reflect improved opportunities to eliminate workplace accidents and injuries
- Compile, analyze, interpret, and report accidents, incidents, Near Misses and First Aid events
- Review property and injury reports
- Responsible for the overall administration of workers compensation program
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a Safety & Health related program or equivalent
- 4+ years of experience in Industrial Safety & Health or Risk Loss Management
- Able to work independently as well as within a team
- Excellent communication skills up and down organizational structure
- Must be Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Ability in producing reports and developing relevant policies
- Knowledge of all Safety and Environmental supplies, products or training items required
- Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, EPA, and applicable regulatory agencies
- Proficient on Microsoft Office Products
- Ability to train all levels of the organization
- Certified OSHA 10-hour (Minimum); OSHA 30-hour (Preferred)
- Forklift Trainer Certification
- Possess Power Industrial Equipment Trainer experience
- Must be CPR and First Aid Training

Primary functions are to safely load plant with specified material, maintain stockpile areas and to maintain the cleanliness and efficiency of the plant. The Loader Operator is responsible for daily inspections of the loader and is expected to work with outside equipment service suppliers to keep the equipment in good working order.
- Load the bins at the plant with the corresponding aggregates (sand, stone 57, pearock and any other required in production)
- Load the dump trucks with mud (wash out).
- Remove the mud continuously during the day (start and end of daily operations)
- Receive and stack aggregates in designated bins
- Handle aggregates properly to prevent contamination in the yard and ensure quality conditions (keep them well separated, report, in a timely manner, if any contaminated dump truck arrives and any other situation that may alter the quality of the aggregates, maintain area clean)
- Support the yardman with the cleaning activities in the yard
- Perform the cleaning of the pools of the yard and maintain the appropriate level according to company procedure
- Conduct daily inspection of the good condition and proper functioning of the front loader, and complete appropriate report sheet
- Report any malfunction or defective equipment by using the daily control form
- Provide maintenance to the front loader according to company procedure thus ensuring that it is in good working and cleaning conditions (lubricated) by completing the appropriate format
- Follow safety policies and procedures and wear required PPE
Adonel Concrete, large concrete privately-owned company in South Florida seeks experienced bilingual English/ Spanish “concrete batching operator” to join our WPB location.
The Batching Operator operates a stationary plant that produces Ready-Mix concrete.
Job Functions:
- Manages raw materials
- Operates an automated command batching system
- Records quantity of sand, cement, gravel, and water required for each mix on loading ticket
- Observes indicator that show when proper amount of materials have been made
- Assists in maintenance and report of plant equipment
- Performs other related duties
Job Requirements:
- Must possess the consistent ability to work overtime (nights & weekends) approximately 55-70 hours
- Interact with Dispatching, Customer Service, Quality Control and Drivers
- Focus on Customer Excellence
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
