ADONEL CONCRETE OPENS SECOND BLOCK PLANT

New Plant Doubles Production Capabilities

MIAMI, April 7, 2016 – Just six months after opening its first Block Plant, Adonel Concrete has announced that it has opened a second plant that will more than double the production of blocks in an effort to meet the current demand.

The second plant, also located in West Palm Beach, brings the total number of employees at the two Block Plants to more than 50. The two plants are now capable of producing 60,000 blocks per day.

“The need to expand our operations in such a short period of time is a strong indicator that real estate projects in such areas as Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie and Indian River counties are increasing,” said Luis Garcia, president and CEO.   “We have a dedicated team that is totally committed to meeting our customers’ needs.”

Founded in 1984 by Luis Garcia, Adonel Concrete maintains 15 concrete plants and two block plants in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach and Fort Pierce. In 2010, Adonel expanded its operations to Haiti where it now operates three plants. Adonel has more than 250 employees and a fleet of 180 trucks.
