Adonel Concrete Opens First Block Plant

MIAMI, September 30, 2015 – With the opening this week of its first block plant, Adonel Concrete, South Florida’s largest privately-owned concrete company, continues to expand its list of service locations.

Located in West Palm Beach at 1926 Skees Road adjacent to Adonel’s concrete plant at that location, the facility is the first of its kind for the company and has the capability of producing 30,000 blocks per day. It will serve Adonel’s customers in Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie and Indian River counties.

“The opening of our first concrete block plant is a major milestone for our company and enables us to offer our customers a full-range of services,” said Luis Garcia, president of Adonel Concrete. “We can now accommodate the needs of a variety of projects in the area that require both smaller and larger concrete block demands.”

Earlier this year, Adonel Concrete was named the 2015 Top Business of the Year by the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce as part of its Top Entrepreneurial Awards program.

Founded in 1984 by Luis Garcia, Adonel Concrete maintains 12 plants in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach and Fort Pierce. In 2010, Adonel expanded its operations to Haiti to help rebuild damaged areas. The company now operates three plants in Haiti and is supplying concrete for a number of projects in Port-au-Prince. Adonel has more than 210 employees and a fleet of 150 trucks.
