Adonel Concrete Begins Work on Major PROJECT IN Sweetwater

MIAMI – Nov. 20, 2014 – Adonel Concrete was recently selected as the exclusive concrete material provider for the development of a new hotel which commenced construction just last week in the City of Sweetwater. Under the guidance and contracting of L&R Structural and Woodland Construction, Adonel Concrete will provide more than 15,000 cubic yards of concrete for the dual-branded Hilton Hotel.

“We are honored to have been selected to not only work with partners such as L&R Structural and Woodland Construction, but also to be part of a major project near our first concrete plant,” said Luis Garcia, president of Adonel.  “This property is a reflection of the growing status of the City of Sweetwater.”

Coincidentally, the hotel is located on the corner of  NW 14th Street and NW 110th Avenue – also known as “Adonel Way” – a street designated by the City of Sweetwater in 2013 in recognition of Adonel Concrete’s longstanding commitment to the growth and prosperity of the City.

Adonel Concrete was founded in 1984 and currently maintains 12 plants in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach and Fort Pierce. In 2010, Adonel expanded its operations to Haiti to help rebuild damaged areas. The company now operates three plants in Haiti and is supplying concrete for a number of projects in Port-au-Prince. Adonel has more than 250 employees and a fleet of 150 trucks.
